Lab Logistics Services: From Our Dock to Your Bench

Moving a lab is where many timelines slip. Our lab logistics services make sure you get traction.

If you already have your own equipment, our Lab Logistics Team handles the move end to end. We come to your current site, carefully pack your instruments, transport them, and set them up in your new lab at I-270 Tech Labs. You point to where they go. We do the rest.

Because we move lab equipment for a living, the details that can stall a do-it-yourself move are already covered: fragile instruments packed to survive transit, freight coordinated, and lab doors built wide enough to take equipment a standard office building can’t.

The cost structure is simple: You pay for pickup and transport only. Moving your equipment in and setting it up is included at no charge.

Quality Control

How We Test Equipment

All of our equipment goes through rigorous quality control checks before we sell it. Testing is tailored to each piece, since the depth and the specifics depend on what the equipment is and what it needs to do. Across the board, that means:

  • Function

    Every unit is powered up and run to confirm it operates the way it should.

  • Performance

    Where applicable, outputs and readings are verified against our own calibrated instruments.

  • Condition

    Seals, components, and consumable parts are inspected, then serviced or replaced as needed.

We put each piece through its paces until we’re confident it’s ready to use. For a clinical or regulated workflow, we provide a quality control statement on request confirming the piece was tested and passed specifications.

Onsite Pool

Shared Equipment. Onsite & Maintained.

Beyond what you buy or bring, Members draw on a shared, onsite equipment pool, provided and maintained by us, first come, first served. The list includes but is not limited to:

  • Luminescence plate reader and multimode plate reader
  • Microscopes
  • Nanodrop spectrophotometer and additional spectrophotometers
  • Real-time PCR
  • Electrophoresis
  • Colony counter
  • Centrifuges and balances
  • DI high-purity water system

  • Autoclave Service

    Leave your glassware, labware, or instruments with us and we sterilize them for you. BaneBio operates the autoclave as a building service rather than leaving it to open shared use, so it stays reliable when you and the rest of the community need it.

  • Cold Storage

    A power outage should never cost you months of work. Our rentable -80C ULT freezers run on generator backup, so your samples stay protected even when the grid goes down. Keep one in the shared area or have us place it directly in your lab. We can also host larger equipment on the generator-backed floor for a fee.
